Church Camp up at Big Bay is coming soon!
Runnymede's camp weekend is a highlight in the life of our church and this year it will run from the afternoon of Thursday, August 29th to Monday, September 2nd at the Big Bay Boy Scout Camp on the shores of beautiful Georgian Bay.
The site offers a good range of facilities: tent sites and a few cabin spaces for the non-tenting types, a dining hall with a fully-equipped kitchen, a crafts cabin, and a great waterfront. During the time we are at camp, there will be some organized activities, but the schedule is quite relaxed to allow lots of time to just hang out. The crafts cabin is open daily, and children as well as adults can let their creative juices flow. Each evening, we gather around the campfire for songs, stories, marshmallows and fun. Impromptu singalongs and rousing board games in the dining hall are always a hit, and Saturday night's Variety Night is always a lot of fun! On Sunday morning, we will gather together for worship.
