  1. Read Revelation 21-22. What stands out to you from this final vision?
  2. Revelation 21:1-3 parallels the Church (the bride of Christ) with the New Jerusalem and the new heavens and the new earth. Moreover, Revelation 21-22 uses imagery from both the temple (21:15-16, 22, 27) and garden (22:1-2). How does this vision of a world-wide garden-temple shape your understanding of the Church’s mission?
  3. The Great Commission in Matthew 28:18-20 was discussed as the mission of the church. What are the main components of this mission? How do they relate to the Gospel message (that Jesus died for our sins and rose from the dead)?
